Bowling Green Sunday Night Celebrates 75 Years
Bowling Green Sunday Night invites you to join us in celebrating 75 years of carrying the message to the next suffering alcoholic, and making sobriety a possibility to the thousands who have walked into their first AA meeting.
We will be providing Bratwurst and Sauerkraut, and Hamburgers. Beverages to include, Coffee, Tea, and Lemonade. We will also have an anniversary cake for dessert.
Please bring a dish to share if you can.
When:
November 06, 2016 – Doors open at 6:30 pm – Eat at 7:00 pm, special guest speaker (Mel B.) to lead at 8:00 pm. With 66 years of sobriety, you don’t want to miss his lead! Did we mention the door prizes? Yes we have those too.

The Realm of the Spirit
In ancient times material progress was painfully slow. The spirit of modern scientific inquiry, research and invention was almost unknown.
In the realm of the material, men’s minds were fettered by superstition, tradition, and all sorts of fixed ideas. Some of the contemporaries of Columbus thought a round earth preposterous. Others came near putting Galileo to death for his astronomical heresies.
Are not some of us just as biased and unreasonable about the realm of the spirit as were the ancients about the realm of the material?
